AI Use Statement
AI is central to our work, so we want to be clear about how we use it and how we describe what it can and cannot do.
AI as an engineering capability
Our approach is AI-Assisted Engineering (A2E): AI augments engineering workflows and domain expertise. It is a capability layer inside larger engineering products, not the entire product and not a standalone chatbot.
Engineers stay in control
Our systems are designed to keep engineering evidence, established tools and human judgement in the loop. AI does not replace engineers, engineering judgement or established engineering tools such as solvers, compilers and tests.
How we report results
We show the real status of each project: Prototype, Proof of concept, Client R&D (delivered), Planned or Research.
Passing software checks shows that a workflow runs correctly; it does not show that a model matches physical reality, which requires experimental validation. Client R&D results are reported as measured on the stated evaluation metrics for each engagement.
Private and sensitive data
Our private-computing work, including air-gapped solutions and on-premise Small Language Models, is designed to help organisations keep sensitive data within infrastructure they control. These are design goals, not guarantees: the protection any system provides depends on how it is deployed and operated.
